Enjoyed this talk; well-informed, courageous. I appreciate the attention especially to how Diyanet has been increasingly engaged in instrumentalizing Islam in the direction of Turkish nationalism, and Erdogan loyalty–with a heavy dose of anti-Gulen “crusading,” as you (perhaps unfortunately) put it.
