Spotted in the lift (elevator) at my school, a sticker advertising ‘Ottoman Elevators’, “Istanbul’s fastest, most economic elevator maintenance and repair service”. Ocular proof of ‘neo-Ottomanism’: upholding the noble Ottoman tradition of quality elevator maintenance!
